A full-time resident of Placer County in rural Lincoln since 1970, Pat was no stranger to the area prior to that – her parents bought a cabin at Donner Summit when she was a child and it became her home every summer and during weekends and school vacations in the winter.
Pat is a graduate of UC Berkeley, earned a Masters Degree at UCLA and did graduate study at the University of Paris. For many years she taught French at the high school level.
Pat and her husband of 43 years, Don, spent the first two years of their married life in Guinea, West Africa, and then settled in Lincoln where they raised their three daughters.
Pat started and managed a mediation service for the County which led subsequently to her teaching mediation in Africa. Currently she is the West-side aide to District 5 Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery. |
